Hong Kong Trip Day 1: Disney's Hollywood Hotel

Hong Kong Trip Day 1: Hollywood Hotel

Upon our arrival at the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), six of us hired a car to Disney's Hollywood Hotel instead of taking the MTR (pricey and obviously a wrong option). Can't really blame us cause we were conned by that uncle at the transportation service counter.

Flying Back to Malaysia

Finally, I get to sit down with my sore feet, updating my blog with two panda eyes... The last whole week has been a struggle as the schedule of our Hong Kong and Shen Zhen trip were really packed. I have tones and tones of photos and stories that I wish share with you but yet, I'm just too busy (hanging out in Queensbay Mall) and too tired (down with flu and sore throat) to update my blog.

Durian Feast in Hometown

Durian Feast in Hometown

D24 from my grandparents' orchard, a well-known premium grade durians which are highly demanded, by durian lovers of course!!! When we were kids, we used to have them as our main dish to go with the steamed rice during the fruits season. And after each meal, our parents would always made us drink salt water from the durian shell to help reduce the "heatiness" they said. It was fun (to kids like us) and we had been practicing it since then.

Lunch and Shopping in Betong

Thai Restaurant, Betong Thailand

We came back to have lunch with my mom and her friends (who are also my former secondary school teachers) yesterday at one of the Thai restaurants in Betong. It was the same restaurant we visited last year when I came back to Malaysia (sorry that I still have no idea what's the name of that restaurant =.="). The feeling was good, being able to sit down and have a decent meal with my family once again!
